There are multiple graduate orientation events arranged by campus and school. Some schools have separate orientation and immigration information sessions which are indicated below. Spring 2022 international graduate orientations will take place both virtually and in-person, beginning the week of January 10, 2022. Please be sure to check your specific school below for orientation information. 

 

Graduate School of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, Graduate SMFA, and Cummings

Self-paced orientation course available Monday, January 10, 2022 - Tuesday, January 18, 2022
Live immigration session on Friday, January 14, at 10:00 AM EST

Location: Virtual

Students will receive a link to the Canvas Orientation course through their Tufts email address on January 10, and will have until January 18 to complete the orientation course.

The orientation course will cover:

  • Meet the staff of the International Center
  • Meet other incoming international graduate students
  • Learn about your F-1 student visa, and how to maintain your immigration status while studying at Tufts
  • Meet current international graduate students and hear about their experiences

Boston Health Sciences Campus
