SEVIS School Codes for F-1 Transfer Students Coming to Tufts

Tufts University's schools and programs are organized in the Student and Exchange Visitor System (SEVIS) according to different government-approved SEVIS school sites, each with a specific School Name and School Code.

If you are an F-1 student at another institution and planning to transfer your SEVIS record to Tufts, you must select the correct SEVIS School Name and School Code for your program. You should then provide the correct code to your current international student advisor, so that y our SEVIS record is transferred to the correct SEVIS school site. If your record is transferred to the incorrect school, there may be a delay in issuing your I-20. Please email us at internationalcenter@tufts.edu if there are any questions about the transfer process.
