Graduate Orientations

There are multiple graduate orientation events arranged by campus and school. Some schools have separate orientation and immigration information sessions which are indicated below. 

Graduate School of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, and Graduate SMFA

The orientation will cover:

  • Meet the staff of the International Center
  • Meet other incoming international graduate students
  • Learn about your F-1 student visa and how to maintain your immigration status while studying at Tufts
  • Learn about campus resources

Boston Health Sciences Campus

In-Person Orientation for students in the Friedman School, PHPD Program, and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

The orientation will cover:

  • Meet the staff of the International Center
  • Meet other incoming international graduate students
  • Learn about your F-1 student visa, and how to maintain your immigration status while studying at Tufts
  • Meet current international graduate students and hear about their experiences

The Tufts International Center hosts a mandatory immigration orientation for students in the School of Dental Medicine to provide essential information to prepare you for life at Tufts.
