The International Center strongly encourage Spring 2020 graduates to attend a workshop and apply for OPT early in order to avoid long processing times and delays. The International Center will start processing OPT requests for May graduates starting February 18. Students who apply in February or early March have a much stronger chance of getting their OPT approvals by the start of summer. However, attendance at an OPT workshop is the first step before starting the application process.
STEM OPT
In addition to our standard OPT workshops, the International Center will offer this spring STEM OPT workshops for students interested in learning more about the STEM Extension of OPT. There will be one Spring 2020 workshop in Medford and one in Boston Health Sciences campus. Check the Calendar of Events for dates and times.
