International Center Visa Services
The Tufts International Center handles all visa procedures for individuals requiring visa sponsorship by the University.
To qualify for visa sponsorship, you must be invited to come to Tufts University as a self-funded visiting scholar or scientist, visiting student or hired as an employee of the University in a research, teaching, or staff role. Your Tufts department will be responsible for starting the appropriate visa process for you. The visa options available will depend on your specific role and situation at Tufts. - J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa Program for visiting scholars, visiting faculty, and limited term researchers, postdoctoral scholars and research staff.
- J-1 Student Intern Program for visiting students participating in Tufts approved internship programs
- International Employee Visas for post-doctoral scholars, faculty, administrators, and staff
