Last year, it was harder than ever to meet people and make meaningful connections. In response, Counseling and Mental Health Services (CMHS) launched a new peer-led initiative to build community on campus, called Project Connect. It was a hit! 96% of participants said they’d do Project Connect again, and 96% said they’d recommend it to a friend.

This year, it’s still hard to make friends and build meaningful connection, so they’re running Project Connect again this fall and undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate!

Project Connect is a free, 6-week, peer-led program to help you get to know your peers and build friendships. For one hour each week, participants discuss a series of thought-provoking questions and complete a mini connection project. We’ll have virtual and in-person options for Project Connect, and it’s available to students on-campus and remote.
