Please make an appointment with a Career Center advisor (you will need to log in using Handshake) to speak one-on-one with someone who is able to help you with your resume, job search, networking, and interview preparation. The Career Center will be maintaining normal business hours through the end of the spring semester and the summer. Please reach out to the International Center if you are unable to get an appointment.
You can start applying from 90 days before your degree completion date.
Using Handshake, you can search JUMBOS4JUMBOS within the Jobs section of Handshake and see alumni-sponsored jobs, internships, and projects available for our current and soon-to-be graduating students.

No - you cannot start a job until you have received your EAD card and the start date is in effect.
No - for the STEM Extension, you must have paid employment with an E-Verify employer. OPT allows volunteer employment, but to apply for the STEM Extension, you will need a paid position.
If you are in F-1 status, you only have temporary authorization through OPT, so the answer would be "yes." This is a useful way to filter jobs so that you do not spend time looking for jobs that you are unable to work.
